Naloxone Training / Harm Reduction Information Sessions

Education and advocacy are important cornerstones of our work. The drug poisoning crisis extends beyond the inner city and our houseless community. The impacts of the city’s toxic drug supply are far-reaching, including the club/party scene and even our own homes. What better way to reduce fatal poisonings than to equip the people who live, work and play in Amiskwacîwâskahikan (The City of Edmonton) with this lifesaving medication and the confidence to respond to these emergencies?

4B offers free naloxone training sessions. Our team will provide comprehensive instruction on how to recognize and respond to drug poisonings. Each participant will have the opportunity to practice these hands-on skills and participate in discussions that will have a lasting impact on stigma and societal perception of substance use.

4BHRS can train in various settings and can cater these sessions to what you are looking for.  We've done training events at small businesses, schools, local pubs and dance bars as well as private sessions. We hope to spread the knowledge and awareness that comes with naloxone training.
